Development & Solutions: custom software and ready-made products
We build custom software, from requirements gathering to production: back-end, APIs, web and mobile applications, quality. Our Solutions division also publishes ready-made software, such as Cadence and Kelma.
Good software is more than code. It starts from a well-understood need, integrates with your information system, stays maintainable and can evolve. We cover the whole chain, without separating the business need from technical delivery.
What we do
- Business analysis and product ownership: requirements gathering, user journeys, backlog and prioritisation, and the link between business, IT and delivery teams.
- Back-end and APIs: business services, integration APIs and connections to your existing applications.
- Web and mobile applications: interfaces for your employees, partners or customers.
- Quality and testing: a test strategy and releases without regressions.
These skills combine with our Cloud & DevOps and Artificial intelligence expertise when your product needs automated environments, AI or broader integrations.
Our software
When the same need comes up with several clients, we turn it into a product. Our Solutions division publishes in particular:
- Cadence, which generates public transport networks' timetables from their GTFS, with no designer and no re-entry;
- Kelma, the AI phone assistant that answers callers in any language and integrates with Salesforce, Odoo, Zendesk and HubSpot.
We also offer document automation (AI and RPA), an internal AI assistant hosted in your cloud, a ready-to-use deployment platform and monitoring dashboards.
Example projects
Rebuilding or creating a business application. When an application becomes hard to evolve, or a process still relies on spreadsheets and manual exchanges, we frame the need with users, design the key journeys and deliver an application ready to run.
Connecting your tools. We expose business APIs and make data exchange between your applications reliable.
Creating a portal or internal tool. A management portal, an employee or partner area, an admin interface, a tracking tool: ways to simplify a journey and reduce re-entry.
Our approach
1. Scoping with an expert. A free 30-minute first conversation to understand your context, existing systems, pain points and priorities.
2. Delivery. Business analysts, product owners, back-end and front-end developers, web and mobile specialists, quality profiles: we bring in the right team, with infrastructure, cloud or AI expertise where needed.
3. Operations. We prepare go-live, take care of deployments, and provide monitoring and maintenance. Your contacts stay the same from scoping to production.
Engagement models
- Fixed-price projects when the scope and expectations are defined.
- IT staffing to strengthen an existing team or secure a key phase.
- Recruitment when you want to bring skills in-house.
- Service centre in Morocco for corrective and evolutive maintenance, with French-speaking consultants and a minimal time difference. See IT staffing & Nearshore.

Frequently asked questions
When should you choose custom development?
When your processes, business rules or integrations do not fit a standard tool, or when an existing application has become too restrictive.
Do you handle scoping and product management?
Yes. Our business analysts and product owners gather requirements, map user journeys, manage the backlog and prioritise, to align the product with your goals.
Can you deliver everything, from back-end to testing?
Yes: back-end, APIs, front-end, web and mobile, quality and testing, to avoid gaps between design, delivery and production.
Which software does Abalsia publish?
Notably Cadence, for public transport timetables, and Kelma, the AI phone assistant, as well as document automation, internal AI assistant, deployment and monitoring solutions.
